The County Zoning Commission shall consist of 5 members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and shall reside on property, any part of which lies within the Yellowstone County Zoning jurisdictional area but outside the City of Billings. Terms of each member shall be for four (4) years. It shall hold its meetings in the large conference room on the 4th floor of the Parmly Library, and the presence of three (3) members shall constitute a quorum.

Its duties and powers shall be to recommend the boundaries of the various original districts and appropriate regulations to be enforced therein, and to hold public meetings and make recommendations to the BOCC on all requests to amend, supplement change, modify or repeal the regulations, restrictions and boundaries in zoning districts. The BOCC shall not hold its public hearing or take action until it has received a final report from such commission. Meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. 4th floor Large Conference room, of the Parmly Library/City Offices, 510 North Broadway.
