Victim ServicesEmail the Department

The Victim Witness Coordinators’ mission is to alleviate the trauma and devastating effects of crime on the lives of victims, witnesses and their families, while vigorously protecting their rights. Victim coordinators guide victims and witnesses through the court process, help victims request restitution, provide crisis intervention, make referrals to counseling and community services and much more.

A more in-depth description of the criminal justice process, victim rights, orders of protection and victim compensation can be found here (State .pdf file)
