The County Attorneys Office consists of a staff of one elected
official, 21 attorneys, 6 victim witness coordinators, 14 legal
assistants & 2 administration personnel, who are committed
to serving the public through the vigorous prosecution of criminal
cases in Yellowstone County and assisting victim and witnesses
of crime.
The Victim Witness Coordinators mission is
to alleviate the trauma and devastating effects of crime on the
lives of victims, witnesses and their families, while vigorously
protecting their rights. Victim coordinators guide victims and
witnesses through the court process, help victims request restitution,
provide crisis intervention, make referrals to counseling and
community services and much more.
