- Licensed Practical Nurse -Detention Facility
Full-time position, which performs a variety of nursing and clerical duties in the County’s Detention Facility; does related work as required. Accepting applications until position is filled.
- Detention Officer-Detention Facility
ESTABLISHING A NEW ELIGIBILITY POOL; FEMALES AND MINORITIES ENCOURAGED TO APPLY. Full-time position which performs routine supervisory work in the safekeeping of prisoners in custody at the Yellowstone County Sheriffs Office Detention Facility. Protects the well being of prisoners overseeing them at meals, at activities and in their quarters; does related work as required.

- Senior Accountant-MetraPark
Regular full-time position, which involves the accounting for a department or department program and directs daily fiscal operations to provide for sound fiscal procedures that comply with acceptable accounting procedures and state and federal guidelines, responsible for advanced accounting tasks within a County Department. Accepting applications until 5:00 pm on October 17, 2008.
- Counselor-Youth Services Center
Full-time position, which provides counseling, basic care and behavior management for youth placed in County youth care facilities by a referring agency; does related work as required. This is shift work – overnight shift.
These positions may be required to work weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays.

- Equipment Operator II - Custer Resident Area Operator – Zone 7-Public Works
Responsible for operating heavy construction and maintenance equipment for County roadway construction, maintenance and repair; does related work as required. Successful applicant must be willing to relocate within Zone 7 (Custer, Montana) in Yellowstone County within 12 months of accepting position.
