Final Law and Justice Interim Committee Meeting Sept 9-10, 2010

SJR 39 - DUI Study – Final public hearings, followed by a committee vote to determine whether or not these drafts will be introduced as committee bills will take place Friday, September 10 at the Capitol Room 152. This is your last chance to testify at a hearing or send an email prior to the final committee vote. Yellow highlights are new drafts which have had less time for public comment. Links should take you to current drafts and agendas.

LClj01-R - Driver's license sanctions for youthful offenders (as amended on 6/30/10)

LClj02-R - Allow game wardens to issue minor-in-possession tickets (as amended on 6/30/10)

LClj03-R - Mandate responsible alcohol server and sales training (as amended on 6/30/10)

LClj04 -R- On-call judge for BAC test search warrant (as amended on 6/30/10)

LClj05 - Per se limit for dangerous drug impaired driving

LClj06-A - Revising probationary drivers' licenses for DUI/BAC offenders

LClj06-B - Revise jail time and suspended sentence provisions for DUI/BAC offenders

LClj10 - Extend court jurisdiction to one year for misdemeanor impaired driving

LClj11 - Eliminate 5-year "look back" limit for counting prior impaired driving convictions

LClj15 - Authorize county social host ordinances (requested 6/30/10) NEW

LClj16 - Stiff penalty for refusal of breath/blood alcohol test (requested 6/30/10) NEW
